Trimble TSC5 Controller / Ranger 5 Data
Collector OS Update

 

OS Update version 01.02.04 is available from the Google Over the Air (GOTA) server and can be installed directly from the Trimble® TSC5 controller / Trimble Ranger® 5 data collector. Instructions, troubleshooting, and support notes are available below.

Warning: Trimble Recommends Users Not Apply Windows 11 Upgrade on Data Collectors

 

On October 5, 2021, Microsoft released Windows 11. While it may be possible for user's to immediately update their field data collectors to Windows 11, Trimble does not advise upgrading until they can test and ensure compatibility. 

 Updating prior to a recommendation from Trimble is done at the user's own risk of application compatibility which could cause downtime in the field.  Additional information will be provided in the next few months.
