Update Your Software to 2.8 For a Boost to Your Entire Wingtra Workflow
At Wingtra, the biggest aim is to ensure that every flight is a success. Software 2.8 improves your experience along the entire Wingtra data collection workflow. The following key updates (and more) are available with this update:
- KML import features color-coding and polygon names for ease of use (see image above)
- Safe RTH path improvements include shorter paths in specific missions with low side overlaps*
- WingtraHub now handles corrupted JPEGs more reliably for more consistent geotagging results
- Micasense RE-P triggering fix improves reliability and ensures high-quality outputs**
*We believe in safety for our users and continue to hone the safe RTH feature to bring it up to our flight performance standards. At the same time we understand that our most advanced users would like to have the same performance as before, so we’re working to build that back into upcoming releases.
**Customers flying RE-P now will need to update the camera with the latest firmware—follow these instructions from MicaSense.
