Our old nemesis! To this day, Grid to Ground remains the most misunderstood and confusing aspect of modern measurement. The Vectors team answers more questions on Grid to Ground than any other support issue…Period! This class is designed to provide education, clarity, and procedures to follow when calculating or checking Grid to Ground relationships.

This class will cover the following topics:

• Theory
• Projections
• Scale factors
• Inverse relationships
• Keying-In control diagrams (DOT)
• Creating your own control diagrams
• Low distortion projections
• Data analysis (QC)
• Geoid models and orthometric heights (elevation) 

Are you new to Trimble Site Calibration procedures or need a refresher on Site Calibration? This class will cover the things you need to know so that you can be confident with your results. The Vectors team will guide you through both a field exercise with Trimble Access and an office portion with Trimble Business Center.
